Finance and Administration
The Executive Vice Provost for Finance and Administration is responsible for the Budgets, Planning and Institutional Research group within the Provost's Office. He works closely with the Provost, Executive Vice President, and the Deans to support long range planning, resource allocations consistent with established priorities, and effective fiscal and operational management.
The office is charged with coordinating the annual resource allocation and budget process for academic programs under the University's Management Center Budget System. The office also provides institutional research support for regulatory compliance, national surveys, and internal planning and management needs. The Finance and Administration group is also responsible for:
- supporting the University's long range academic and financial planning by providing appropriate databases, tools, analyses and reports
- coordinating personnel activities for academic units
- representing the Provost's office is discussions of space allocation and facilities planning
- overseeing the university's Student Information Services and Systems project
- providing operational supervision and long-range planning support for the Undergraduate Financial Aid office
- and providing the technology infrastructure for the Office of the Provost
