

To support the University's commitment to internationalization, the Office of International Affairs and Development was established in 1995 to facilitate coordination among the University's international programs and provide a locus for new initiatives. Today, the role of this office has expanded to include development activities for this specific purpose as well as for University initiatives as a whole. The main focus of the office remains the enhancement and encouragement of internationalization by promoting international development on campus and increasing Duke's presence around the world.
