Kenneth Brown

Michael Fitzpatrick Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering

Kenneth Brown controls quantum systems to both develop new technologies and understand the natural world. His research accomplishments include the creation of robust control sequences for quantum gates, the development of quantum error correction procedures, and the use of laser-cooled atoms and ions to study cold molecular ions. He was named an Experienced Research Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and a Fellow of the American Physical Society for his work in quantum information.
