Higher Education Analyst I
Faten grew up in Cairo, Egypt, and received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with minor in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.
She has been at Duke since 2006 in different finance & grant management positions, first at the Kenan Institute for Ethics, then 12 years at the Divinity School, briefly at the Office of Undergraduate Education before joining the Provost Office.
Faten supports the Offices of Global Affairs, Faculty Advancement, Center for Computational Thinking and the North Carolina Leadership Forum along managing some Duke Endowment grants.
She has lived in Durham with her husband and their 2 children since 2000. Faten enjoys tennis, playing the piano, and travelling.
