Tammy joined the Provost’s Office in October 2025 as an Administrative Assistant, where she supports the Chief of Staff’s team. She brings eight years of experience at Duke University, most recently serving as Assistant to the Vice Provost for Learning Innovation and Lifetime Education. Prior to that role, she spent five years as a Staff Assistant with the Duke Learning Innovation team.
Tammy offers three decades of experience as a senior-level administrative professional, providing executive support across a variety of industries, including agricultural marketing, specialty insurance, real estate, and retail. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising with an emphasis in Business Management from Brigham Young University. Outside of work, Tammy is actively involved in her community and enjoys walking Raleigh’s greenways, reading, and traveling to visit family across the country.
